LONG-RANGE PLANNING
Comprehensive Plan
A comprehensive plan serves as a
community's constitution for development and the use of its
land. It provides direction for the long-term as well as the
short-term, and covers multiple subjects. It is a statement
of policy identifying environmental, social, and economic
desires, and its accompanying maps are a reflection of
stated policies.
