PAYING UTILITY BILL ONLINE

NOTE: a number of customers are mentioning that it's confusing how their online utility payment charge looks on their credit card bill.

Here's a sample of how your utility bill payment will show up:

The new averages are in! Your sewer rate is based on your average winter water use (since so much of your summer water use is for irrigation that doesn't use the sewers). This utility bill will be the first one based on your 2009 winter water use, so you may see a change. If you are new to online bill pay, welcome!

It’s easy to get started. Here are a few tips to help you:

1. Have your paper bill in front of you.

2. Enter the following information:

Last Name Field: enter as it appears on your bill.

* If you are a business, type the entire name as it appears in the last name field of your paper bill only.

* If you are a tenant, enter the owner’s name that appears on the top of your bill.

First Name Field: enter as it appears on your bill.

* If you are a business, leave this field blank.

* If you are a tenant, enter the owner’s name that appears on the top of your bill.

Customer Number: enter from your bill. It should look something like 001234-000 (Make sure to have the dash before the last three zeros!)

E-mail address: Use the address to which you would like us to send the password if you forget it.

Password: Please do not use your name or account number
